Simulakra is a new experiential format that reinterprets historical spaces within a digital environment. In its first application, the Haydar Hamamı—a structure currently standing in ruins in Istanbul’s Cibali district—was digitally reconstructed based on existing architectural surveys (rölöve). The building was revived in three dimensions with academic accuracy and transformed into a digital exhibition venue.

The most distinctive part of the experience is the interaction with Hoca Ali Rıza’s painting “Küçük Çamlıca Hill – Çilehane / Musalla Mescidi.” When the viewer engages with the artwork, they are transported directly into the scene, finding themselves within the landscape and even stepping inside the house depicted in the painting. This space reveals additional works by Hoca Ali Rıza, creating a seamless transition between artwork, architecture, and immersive digital experience.
